Johnson Controls Joins Presentation for Insights on Targeted Sourcing and Big Data
San Ramon, CA — June 6, 2013 — The Human Capital Institute (HCI) has selected David Bernstein to co-present a case study at its 2013 Strategic Talent Acquisition Conference in Boston from June 10–12.
Bernstein and his co-presenter, Michael Ganiere, Strategic Sourcing Leader of Talent Acquisition at Johnson Controls (JCI), will present a case study on the successful initiatives JCI used to maximize the effectiveness of their recruitment marketing budget and meet the company’s business imperatives. Ganiere will discuss how, leveraging eQuest’s Big Data, Johnson Controls was able to implement smarter and faster resource allocation via a targeted sourcing strategy that created competitive advantage. Their presentation, “Leveraging Data to Identify, Prioritize, and Fill Mission-Critical Positions at JCI” will take place on June 11 from 4:05 to 4:45 in the Georgian Ballroom of the Boston Park Plaza.
“Talent acquisition professionals today cannot afford to just fill chairs; they need to be strategic partners to their organizations,” said David Bernstein, vice president of eQuest’s Big Data for HR division. “Leveraging data effectively to target and source the best candidates at the right time is the Holy Grail of talent acquisition, and Big Data helps make that goal a reality. I look forward to sharing this story with our audience.”
Ganiere directs JCI’s North American recruiting and sourcing team. He is responsible for talent sourcing and attraction, including online recruitment marketing on job boards and social media outlets.
The Human Capital Institute is the global association for talent management and new economy leadership, and a clearinghouse for best practices and new ideas.
